2008 Tennessee Science Bowl

The 2008 Tennessee Science Bowl will be held on Feb 23, 2008 at Pellissippi State. It is expected to draw over 250 of Tennessee’s brightest, most tech-savvy high school students. State winners will advance to the National Science Bowl® in Washington, D.C., all expenses paid. The event generates lots of good press, and the students have a great time. They get prizes, and there are lots of goodies for the students and volunteers. It also fosters scientific creativity and emphasizes the importance and value of science in the Tennessee high school students who participate.Approximately 150 volunteer judges and assistants are needed for this event.
IEEE East Tennessee Section members are encouraged to volunteer their time and experience. These students may be future engineers who will be vital to the future of the IEEE and to the technological competitiveness of the United States. Please volunteer here.
